I went to Waikiki Hawaii last week. It was so beautiful : ) As I walked on the glistening beach I heard some loud splashes; it was some locals jumping off the pier and into the ocean below. It looked soooo exciting. I wanted to try it but there was one huge problem. Even though I can swim I was terrified to be in deep water. Its a fear that I’ve carried with me for two decades ever since I almost drowned when I was a kid. I knew that if I didn’t literally take that leap then it would be something that I’d regret for ever. I hate living my life with regrets. They say that on your death bed its not the things that you did that you’ll regret, but its the things that you didn’t do. I had to do it! How could I be a life coach and tell people to overcome their fears if I couldn’t do so myself?? I walked up to the pier, asked the locals for some pointers which they gave me. They told me to stay away from the dark part of the water because those are rocks below, then they told me to jump when a big wave comes in, make sure I bend my legs so the impact doesn’t hurt them, and then one of them jumped in the water below just incase I needed help. All eyes were on me now as my friends applied the pressure. “Jump Baje. Lets go! Here comes the wave now”. My heart started beating faster as the wave approached. I HAD to do it! I counted in my mind: 1-2-3, closed my eyes shut and pinched my nose close and took the leap of faith. I jumped of the pier, leaped into the air and landed into the water!!!! and it was freaking awesome! Splash!! As my head popped out of the water, I swam my way to shore squinting to see though my salt water filled eyes, I swam to the shore line and just sat there for a few seconds taking it all it…I did it! I actually did it! It was like that fear was washed out to sea with that wave, a weight was lifted off my shoulders. Life is about living, breaking boundaries and overcoming fears… Muster up the courage to tackle your fear today : )
As the summer comes to a close I sit back and reflect on the two short months of bliss. I began the summer with a goal of ‘Traveling’ and #PuertoRico was the first destination to kick things off! It was my first time there & it reminded me of a cross between #Jamaica & #Barcelona. Partied with DMD Marketing and the beautiful #ClaudiaJordan. Life is too short to stay still, there are so many places to see, so many people to meet and so many things to try. #Traveling opens up your mind so much.
Set a #goal to travel today. If you don’t have a passport then start with #PuertoRico or #Hawaii (because you won’t need a passport). Or book a cruise (some don’t require passports either). Go see the world then tell me all about it! iLoveBaje@Gmail.com

On the road to pursing your dreams there WILL be MANY challenges, but stay focused and stay hungry. It won’t be easy but it will be worth it. Here are some techniques what worked for me and I’m sure they’ll work for you too!
Four years after the release of my first book, my 2nd one is now available to you all. Since I was a child, writing has always been an outlet for me. I kept dairies and was always more comfortable writing down my emotions rather than talking with someone. With that said, with just a little motivation from my girlfriends and one of my mentors, my first book: A GOAL DIGGER’S GUIDE – HOW TO GET WHAT YOU WANT WITHOUT GIVING IT UP, was born. Thanks to you all it is still a success today. Naturally everyone thought that I was going to follow up with part 2 but I after receiving emails from women all over the world and seeing that their number 1 problem was getting over a man…I decided to put out this book: THE BREAK UP GUIDE – HOW TO GET OVER IT IN HALF THE TIME. I hope this one helps you out as much as the first one did. it’s available on the #Kindle, so spread the word! Love you all #Muah
